Our 20 cattle are becoming something of a force for traditional grazing in the area. We are now grazing several more sites--another quarry being restored to heath, some water-meadow, and a large heathland country park, amounting to something like 120 ha (300 acres) of henceforward well-grazed habitat, not counting the Forest. Perhaps we need more cattle...
